Sundowner Huskisson Bayside Resort - Jervis Bay overlooks stunning Jervis Bay Marine Park. The water is crystal clear and is home to some of the worldÔÇÖs most wonderful marine life. There is a host of various companies running tours to view the abundant marine life.
Collingwood Beach is a little known secret of Jervis Bay, 2.2km long. There are lots of access points along Elizabeth Dr in Vincentia, and the beach has beautiful white sand. There is a natural boat ramp on the southern end of the beach which can be accessed from Holden Street. Take a 25 minute walk from the resort and you'll be there.
The Vincentia Golf Club is on the hill overlooking Jervis Bay. DonÔÇÖt be fooled by the picturesque nature of the 18-hole course ÔÇô there are challenging holes at every turn! There are also 3 bowling greens, snooker tables and tennis courts as well as a host of f&b outlets at the club. This is a 10-minute drive away.
ItÔÇÖs a short and easy walk along the dunes to Nelson Beach ÔÇô stay for a moment to enjoy the spectacular view of the glistening aqua-blue waters, or take a picnic and find the perfect spot to relax. Nelson Beach is great for surfers, protected from north and south winds. This is just 5.5km away from the resort.
The Jervis Bay Maritime Museum features a world renowned collection of maritime artefacts and navigational and surveying instruments. The Museum exhibits a range of nautical equipment, models, photographs, paintings, drawings and objects relating to the history and heritage of the Jervis Bay area. This is just a short 1km walk away from the resort. The Museum is home to the historic Lady Denman ferry and other historic vessels.
A little further out (30 minutes drive) is the Shoalhaven Zoo. Set in 16 acres of native bushland and on the banks of the Shoalhaven River, this zoo will be a hit with kids and adults alike.
